Position Overview

Metal Ops and FoxHaven are seeking an AI-savvy IT Systems Support Specialist to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve our AI-driven technology environment.

This role combines IT systems support, AI platform administration, workflow automation, cybersecurity, and business process optimization. The successful candidate will help ensure our AI-powered systems operate reliably, communicate effectively, protect company data, and support daily business operations.

We are looking for someone who understands that AI is more than a productivity tool. It is an integral part of how modern businesses operate, automate workflows, manage information, and make decisions.

Key Responsibilities1. AI Systems Support & Administration

• Support and troubleshoot AI-powered applications, platforms, agents, and business systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, integrations, and workflow reliability.
• Help manage AI tools, user access, permissions, configurations, and usage policies.
• Investigate errors, unexpected AI behavior, integration failures, and system interruptions.
• Maintain documentation for AI systems, configurations, dependencies, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate with AI vendors, developers, and technology partners when advanced support is needed.

2. AI Workflow Automation

• Maintain and improve AI-driven workflows used across Metal Ops and FoxHaven.
• Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated through AI agents, APIs, scripts, and integrations.
• Help build, test, deploy, and maintain automated business processes.
• Monitor workflows for failures, inaccurate outputs, and performance issues.
• Develop procedures for human review and escalation when AI-generated results require verification.
• Measure automation performance through time savings, reliability, accuracy, and operational impact.

3. Systems Integration & Data Management

• Support connections between AI platforms, business applications, databases, file systems, and other operational tools.
• Troubleshoot API connections, authentication issues, data synchronization, and integration errors.
• Help maintain data quality, consistency, access controls, and appropriate retention practices.
• Support structured knowledge bases and information sources used by AI systems.
• Assist with testing system changes before deployment to minimize disruptions.

4. Cybersecurity & AI Governance

• Help protect company information, credentials, systems, and AI integrations.
• Apply least-privilege access, multifactor authentication, secure credential management, and appropriate logging.
• Identify risks involving unauthorized access, data exposure, prompt injection, and unsafe AI actions.
• Help establish safeguards for AI agents that can access business systems or perform actions.
• Ensure sensitive company information is handled according to approved policies.
• Maintain appropriate human approval for high-impact or irreversible automated actions.

5. Business Operations Support

• Support the technology systems used by Metal Ops and FoxHaven to conduct daily operations.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting employees, business workflows, operational reporting, and system connectivity.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity through AI, automation, and better system integration.
• Work with leadership and employees to understand operational needs and translate them into technical improvements.
• Help minimize downtime and ensure reliable access to critical business systems.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms, and automation technologies.
• Test new capabilities in controlled environments before introducing them into production.
• Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, standard operating procedures, and recovery plans.
• Track system reliability, automation success rates, recurring errors, and operational improvements.
• Recommend solutions based on business value, security, reliability, scalability, and cost.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT systems, software platforms, integrations, or technology operations.
• Strong practical understanding of AI-powered applications and business workflows.
• Familiarity with AI agents, workflow automation, APIs, and system integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and document solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, user permissions, and secure system access.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new AI platforms quickly and work independently.

Preferred Technical Skills

• 2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development (versions 15 and above preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python, XML, JavaScript (OWL), and PostgreSQL.
• Deep familiarity with the Odoo ORM, QWeb reports, and custom module architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining API integrations (REST, JSON-RPC, XML-RPC).
• Experience managing deployments via Odoo.sh, Git, and Docker.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, output validation, and workflow testing.
• Familiarity with version control, deployment procedures, and incident management.
• Experience supporting AI-driven business operations or multi-platform technology environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules and business logic.
• Troubleshoot system performance, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and resolve application bugs.
• Manage version migrations and code upgrades across Odoo instances.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
