go. The MANUFACTURING ENGINEER / ESTIMATOR will create manufacturing
cost estimates and executable manufacturing plans that incorporate
applicable customer drawing/ model requirements, customer/ industry
specifications, QMS requirements and business requirements. This
position also provides project management of new projects. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: Ensure incoming customer
documentation is reviewed by all necessary parties and issues have been
identified and addressed. This includes leading negotiation with
Customers. Create manufacturing cost estimates and manufacturing plans
that account for requirements by defining and documenting the order of
operations in which the product will be manufactured, utilizing in-house
technical experts when necessary. Identify outside vendors for special
processes and obtain quotes for services. Collect and assemble cycle
time data, materials costs, and outside vendor processing costs to
establish product costs and customer pricing. Lead cross-functional
reviews of quote and manufacturing plans. Align manufacturing plans with
internal CAD design outputs. Support manufacturing by reviewing and
incorporating changes, updates, and/or continuous improvements to
manufacturing plans. Conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if
applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company
mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of
