Metal Fabricator / Welder / Installer
Metal Art Studio is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator / Welder / Installer to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual with strong fabrication skills and the ability to work both in the shop and in the field on installation projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience is required in metal fabrication, welding, and installation.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
- Experience fabricating and installing handrails, gates, stairs, structural steel, and custom metal products.
- Must be able to safely operate fabrication equipment, power tools, grinders, saws, and welding machines.
- Experience performing field measurements and on-site installations.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and able to climb ladders up to 20 feet.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment. (60 lb)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom metal products according to specifications and drawings.
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly of metal components.
- Install fabricated products at residential and commercial job sites.
- Conduct field measurements and ensure proper fit and finish during installations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience starting at $20 going up to $30 per hour
- Full-time position.
- Opportunities for overtime.
Only qualified applicants with a minimum of 2 years of metal fabrication and welding with construction experience will be considered.
