We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full- Time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team at our Metairie location. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care.
Position: Full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: 4228 Houma Blvd, Suite 520
Metairie, La 70006
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday 6:45am - 3:15pm
Start Date: ASAP
Job Responsibilities (Admit and Recovery)
- Provide patients for endoscopic procedures and provide pre-op education
- Monitor patients during recovery
- Start IVs, administer medications, and document patient care accurately
- Provide post-procedure discharge instructions and patient education
- Maintain patient safety and follow infection control guidelines
- Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with clinical standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana, no restrictions
- One (1) year of nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS required
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organized, and patient - centered
