Maintenance Tech 1st Shift

Petroflex is a leading extruder of HDPE duct and accessories, delivering high‑quality solutions to the irrigation, electric, utility, telecommunications, data/voice, and renewable energy industries. We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and related machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair, replace, or adjust components to maintain equipment functionality.
• Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Follow all company and industry safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts and equipment upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar maintenance role.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Preferred Experience (Highly Beneficial)

• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming experience
• Hands-on experience working with fully automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with sensors, VFDs, HMI interfaces, servo systems, and automation controls.
• Background in plastics extrusion or continuous manufacturing environments.
