About The Role
The LINCS IDC Security & Compliance team is seeking a highly motivated Contingent Worker (CW) to support our Supply Chain Security program within Meta’s Infrastructure Data Centers organization.
In this role, you will work directly under the direction of our Logistics Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure business teams, carriers, and vendors across Meta implement and adhere to IDC Security standards for transportation, warehousing, and manufacturing security.
This is a hands-on role that blends programmatic security work (80%) with incident response (20%). We’re looking for someone who can build strong cross-functional relationships, manage multiple workstreams concurrently, stay calm under pressure, and adapt quickly to evolving operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programmatic - Standards Implementation & Compliance (80%)
Assess existing security processes, measures, and controls across all IDC supply chain surfaces including warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, Edge Network Services (ENS), and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)
Implement IDC Security transportation and warehousing security requirements and standards across internal business teams, carriers, vendors, and third parties
Conduct security assessments of new and existing warehouse facilities against the IDC Warehouse Security Standard, recommend improvements, and track remediation to completion
Support the rollout and expansion of tracking technology across the IBOS carrier and warehouse fleet, and ensure teams are trained on proper deployment
Identify and engage relevant Meta and third-party stakeholders involved in ENS, ITAD, and manufacturing supply chains
Partner with vendors to recommend security improvements and drive closure of remediation actions
Provide security input during RFP processes to ensure contracts and agreements reflect current security standards
Support new warehouse go-live projects (NORAM and overseas) by validating security readiness
Contribute to the development and delivery of security training materials (videos, flyers, handouts) for IBOS field staff
Track and report on compliance status across all assigned surfaces
2. Incident Response - Security Incident Triage & Response (20%)
Participate in a weekly rotation supporting IDC Security on-call for logistics incidents (at least one CW on duty during business hours)
Triage and respond to logistics security incidents received via on-call processes and directly from IBOS
Monitor shipment sensor outputs and alerts for incidents and suspicious activity
Investigate supply chain security incidents including theft, loss, tampering, seal compromises, route deviations, and unauthorized access
Coordinate with carriers, IBOS field staff, and IDC Security to gather information and resolve incidents
Document incident findings, root causes, and remediation actions
Escalate significant incidents per established procedures (SEV filing, LINCS IDC Security notification)
Required Qualifications
Program Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, track deliverables, and drive projects to completion across cross-functional teams
Relationship Building: Skilled at establishing trust and productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders including internal teams (IBOS, GSST, DEC, Sourcing) and external parties (carriers, vendors, 3P operators)
Problem Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to think on your feet, solve problems in real-time, and adapt to rapidly changing operational environments
Communication: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for conveying security expectations, writing reports, and escalating issues
Attention to Detail: Ability to assess complex physical and operational security environments against documented standards and identify gaps
Preferred Qualifications (Trainable)
The following skills are beneficial but not required. The Logistics Security SME will provide hands-on training in these areas:
Investigations - Experience conducting security investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing stakeholders, and producing findings reports
Intelligence collection, analysis, and assessment - Familiarity with threat monitoring, open-source intelligence, and risk assessment methodologies
Supply chain, logistics, and transportation security - Understanding of freight operations, carrier management, GPS tracking systems, chain-of-custody controls, and physical security for goods in transit
Hardware security - Familiarity with physical security controls for IT hardware assets, data bearing devices, and infrastructure equipment
Data center security - Understanding of physical and logical security principles in data center environments
Data Bearing Device (DBD) security - Knowledge of sanitization requirements, handling procedures, and chain-of-custody for storage media

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $45.00/hour - $60.00/hour.
