Program Coordinator II

Meta
San Francisco, CA Other
POSTED ON 7/16/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/30/2026

Summary
The Project Coordinator for Red Teaming serves as the day-to-day operational owner for projects in our portfolio, handling workflow execution, documentation, and coordination so Project Managers can focus on strategic planning and stakeholder alignment. This role partners closely with Project/Program Managers, Quality Leads, Team Leads, technical writers, engineering, policy partners, and vendors to ensure red teaming work is clearly scoped, properly instructed, unblocked, and delivered on time with high quality.

Please Note: This role involves exposure to graphic and objectionable content, including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio, writings, offensive language, and other potentially disturbing material. Testing will involve creating audio (e.g., verbalizing model prompts) containing and/or referring to graphic and objectionable content.

Responsibilities
Run day-to-day execution for assigned red teaming projects with Project Manager guidance (scheduling, coverage planning, quotas, and progress tracking).
Act as a primary point of contact for daily project questions and grey-area interpretation issues, escalating to PMs/Quality/Policy/Eng as needed.
Draft and format project instructions and supporting documentation (including CRS/AISP inputs where applicable), validating with PMs and product XFNs to ensure clarity and actionability.
Conduct pre-project testing of products/models and red teaming workflows to identify bugs, unclear UX, or instruction gaps; coordinate fixes with engineering and ops partners.
Create, maintain, and analyze operational artifacts (e.g., seed files, trackers, spreadsheets, dashboards, chat links); ensure version control and clean handoffs.
Monitor rater/red teamer performance (quality, speed, adherence, coverage), surface trends, and partner with Team Leads/Quality Leads on calibration needs and corrective actions.
Conduct or support root cause analyses for quality deficiencies, and cascade learnings upstream/downstream to improve calibration across teams.
Attend and document weekly business reviews with vendors and project stakeholders; lead sections of the review as needed (metrics, risks, action items).
Proactively identify risks and roadblocks (tooling, staffing, unclear policy, changing scope), and drive mitigation plans while keeping PMs informed for escalation.
Partner with PMs/Team Leads/Quality Leads to standardize onboarding and training, ensuring new red teamers can ramp quickly and consistently.
Collaborate with stakeholders and Quality Leads/technical writers on report creation, including proofreading and readiness checks before submission to engineering.
Support additional operational tasks needed for program excellence, including working with vendors across multiple time zones.

Skills
Operational execution & project coordination: Strong ability to run day-to-day workflows, build/maintain trackers, and reliably drive projects to completion.
Communication & stakeholder management: Clear, concise written and verbal communication; able to coordinate across cross-functional teams, vendors, and time zones.
Quality mindset: Comfort reviewing work for guideline adherence; able to identify trends, escalate issues, and support calibration/continuous improvement.
Problem solving in ambiguity: Able to make progress with incomplete information, unblock teams, and escalate appropriately with strong documentation.
Technical proficiency: Strong Google Suite skills (Docs/Sheets), comfort with dashboards/spreadsheets/seed files; quick to learn new tools and workflows.
Attention to detail: High bar for instruction quality, formatting, and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Experience supporting data annotation and/or red teaming workflows, including interpreting guidelines and supporting calibrations

Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
