Summary
The Program Coordinator (Pod Lead) leads a team of Data Labeling Analysts delivering GenAI red teaming and safety evaluation work. This role coordinates daily execution, ensures consistent quality and operational excellence, and acts as a bridge between annotators, project/program management, and cross-functional partners. The PC provides direction, feedback, coaching, and escalation support to drive performance, reliability, and team development in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily team operations (queue coverage, task assignment, throughput planning) to ensure timely completion of red teaming exercises and deliverables.
Communicate goals from Project/Program Managers, delegate responsibilities, monitor progress, and remove blockers to meet team objectives.
Track and report team performance metrics (quality, speed, coverage, rework), identify trends, and drive corrective actions in partnership with PMs and Quality Leads.
Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching — including policy walkthroughs and attack technique demonstrations — to build team capability and maintain alignment with evolving guidelines.
Serve as first-line escalation point for workflow issues, unclear instructions/guidelines, tooling problems, and quality concerns; document issues and route to the appropriate partners (PM/Eng/Quality).
Facilitate regular team meetings (standups, calibrations, retros) and foster open communication and knowledge sharing.
Support execution readiness by reviewing schedules/instructions for clarity, confirming staffing plans, and coordinating handoffs with program partners (e.g., technical writers, engineering).
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards; reinforce safe handling practices for sensitive content where applicable.
Identify and escalate high-severity findings during red teaming exercises; coach team members on advanced red teaming techniques and attack strategies to improve coverage of critical risk areas.
Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing workflow changes, tooling/process enhancements, and operational best practices.

Skills
Leadership & Coaching: Strong ability to motivate, coach, and support a diverse team; ability to lead through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Red teaming proficiency: Consistently high-performing practitioner (e.g., top-quartile quality and speed) with strong guideline interpretation and calibration instincts.
Operational excellence: Strong organization/time management; able to run day-to-day execution and maintain reliable coverage.
Analytical thinking: Comfortable using metrics to diagnose issues, run basic root-cause analysis, and drive action plans.
Communication: Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management; able to clearly translate goals into team plans.
Technical proficiency: Strong Google Suite skills (Docs/Sheets); able to build/maintain trackers and learn new tools quickly.
Problem solving: Can independently unblock issues and coordinate across functions to resolution.
Nice to have: Linguistic training.
Nice to have: Experience with large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years in operations, content moderation, data labeling, or trust & safety preferred
Languages: English (+ other language(s) if applicable)


This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Meta.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $31.85/hour – $39.81/hour.

Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, up to 15 Days PTO per annum and a New Child Benefit.
