What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager IV position at Meta?
Summary:
This role owns the systems, standards, and workflows that enable portfolio positioning to scale consistently across a large, matrixed marketing organization. You will translate positioning strategy into durable, reusable, AI-enabled messaging frameworks, enablement packages, and measurement systems—without producing content or owning the strategy itself. You’ll design the messaging architecture and documentation, define fixed vs. adaptable guidance, and build AI-ready workflows to drive speed, consistency, and reuse at scale. Success is measured by adoption, reuse, and clarity across teams and channels, not by asset volume.
This role is interesting because it sits at the intersection of strategy, systems design, AI innovation, and cross-functional leadership. You enable speed, consistency, and quality in messaging at scale, drive continuous improvement, and influence how positioning decisions are operationalized across the organization—all without being tied to content production or campaign ownership.
Skills:
Comfort influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams.
Partnering with engineer team to build.
Experience defining success metrics and using data to drive continuous improvement.
Fluency using AI as an accelerant for scale and consistency.
Marketing systems work.
Nice to have:
Include influencing without authority, collaboration, communication, adaptability, problem solving, empathy, and openness to feedback.
These skills are essential for driving adoption, ensuring clarity, and enabling continuous improvement in a complex, cross-functional environment.
