- Provide comprehensive legal advice on estate planning, family law, landlord-tenant issues, and securities law to internal teams and clients.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and policy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Manage litigation processes related to personal injury law, workers' compensation law, environmental law, and tribal law & regulations, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Advise on immigration law matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations for international personnel or clients.
- Stay current with evolving laws in patent law, environmental regulations, and other specialized areas to inform organizational strategies.
- Support the legal administrative team by maintaining accurate records, managing case files, and preparing reports for senior management.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven experience in multiple legal disciplines including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, and personal injury law.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis platforms.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and correspondence efficiently.
- Experience working within a law office environment or corporate legal department is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to analyze complex legal issues critically.
