Position Summary: The Supply Room Clerk receives MRO (Maintenance Repair & Operation) items, tracks inventory daily, expedites orders, services customers and cleans and organizes the supply room. The purpose of the Supply Room Clerk is to support manufacturing through the maintenance and distribution of supplies from a stocked and organized supply room.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrate use of, or operate the following tools:
o Cleaning Supplies/Utensils
- Receive all incoming MRO/General goods for processing on a daily basis
- Report discrepancies to the supplier and enter packing slips into Plex and file slips.
- Maintain Inventory
o Enter distrubition list in Plex
o Return, restock inventory
o Review negative balance items
o Complete visual inventory
o Monitor Kan-Ban items for low inventory
- Ordering
o Releases sent/confirmed/acknowledged with supplier two times per week
o Price changes submitted to Purchasing
o Items to be returned/repaired sent to correct supplier daily
- Adhere to all safety specifications including stacking heights, seat belt use, speed limits, signage etc.
- Maintain a high level of awareness when operating a PIT of surroundings to ensure safety of all associates, product and equipment.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.

- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Previous experience with Inventory Control Techniques
- Must maintain corrected vision and meet all requirements to operate a Powered Industrial Truck as outlined by regulatory commissions
- Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g. word, excel, outlook, etc).
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically phone skills.
- Positive Customer Service Attitude
