What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Producer / Shooter-Editor, Gaming PC Brand position at META PCs?
META PCs is hiring a full-time shooter-editor to capture and cut fast-turnaround video content. This is a run-and-gun role. You'll be embedded with our founder and team at our Phoenix warehouse, filming spontaneous moments, quick talking-head videos, and behind-the-scenes content, then editing it yourself, fast.
This is not a cinematic production job. If your instinct is to set up lights for 20 minutes, this isn't the fit. If your instinct is to be rolling in 60 seconds and cut it that afternoon, keep reading.
What you'll do:
- Shoot daily at our warehouse and stores: handheld, gimbal, minimal setup
- Capture unscripted moments as they happen, and anticipate them before they happen
- Edit vlog-style longform and shorts at social pacing with same-day or next-day turnaround
- Build and maintain an organized, searchable footage library
- Pitch content moments. You see something worth filming, you say so
- Occasional scheduled shoots at an off-site studio (batched sessions)
What we're looking for:
- You shoot AND edit. This role owns both ends
- Short-form fluency: you know why a cut works on YouTube, TikTok, and Reels
- Fast, organized, low ego. You're an extension of the on-camera talent, not the auteur
- Reliable weekday availability, on-site in Phoenix
- Bonus: you know PC hardware culture, or you're already a viewer
