What are the responsibilities and job description for the SMVF/Fath Effect Pro Mgr position at MET Opportunities?
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Social Work, Health, Psychology or a related field is recommended. An associate degree is preferred Experience working with veteran populations preferred.
Must pass criminal background check and is subject to the agency’s drug and alcohol testing
Extensive travel required in the area; must be able to travel outside project area as
Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as approved by the agency’s vehicle insurance carrier.
Employees must have an account with a financial institution that can process financial transactions through MET’s electronic payroll system.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer
Job Duties:
Project Manager must attend the Nurturing Parenting Model Implementation
Supervise SMVF and Fatherhood Effect staff (maintaining necessary documentation of activities).
Provide an orientation process for new staff that begins with hiring and continues throughout the first year.
Conduct at least four hours of staff meetings monthly that cover administrative issues and provide opportunities for review of implementation data, case discussion, peer support and skill building.
Complete an annual performance evaluation of staff, including written professional development goals. Assist in completing annual performance evaluation of parent educators, including professional development goals.
Ensure that SMVF and Fatherhood Effect staff obtain necessary professional development
Develop / maintain relationships with community organizations and leaders to help grow and sustain the
Oversee direct recruitment efforts or participation in centralized intake
Assist with the continuous quality
Approve fiscal expenditures-materials and travel, for operating the home visiting
Maintain and monitor the budget for SMVF and Fatherhood Effect
Report to work at scheduled time and maintain good Perform all duties in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Participate with a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities.
