What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Relations & Event Coordinator position at Met Global Mobility?
About Us (Boston & NYC)
Met Global Mobility builds premium, private ground transportation programs for the world's most demanding organizations, from Fortune 500 leadership, Private Jet clients, to family offices. In our world, business isn't won through cold calls; it's won through trust, presence, and proximity.
We are hiring a Head of Relationships to act as our primary conduit to the decision-makers and influencers who control global travel spend. This is a high-stakes hybrid role: you are 50% high-end community host and 50% strategic relationship closer.
What You'll Own
- The Conduit Strategy You aren't just booking a table. You are building a community. You will plan and host exclusive, high-signal gatherings, dinners, speakers, offsites — for Executive Assistants, Global Travel Managers, and Principals across Boston, Miami, and New York.
- Relational Sales Your job doesn't end when the bill is paid. You own the Post-Event Arc. You are responsible for turning a guest into a lead, and a lead into a Brand Evangelist.
- Digital Diplomacy You will be our active, human presence in high-level online communities — engaging, providing value, and building rapport electronically so that our digital presence mirrors our white-glove physical service.
- KPI Accountability You will track and report on the Conversion of Trust. Your success is measured by how many community members move from Guest to Active User of the Met Global platform.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years in environments where no margin for error is the standard — high-end hospitality, executive support, or luxury sales
- Background as an Executive Assistant or in executive support is a strong advantage, you understand that world from the inside, and it shows
- Sales DNA, service heart — you convert relationships into revenue, but your style is completely relational. You know how to identify a buying signal over a glass of wine without being salesy
- You understand the EA-to-Principal dynamic — you can speak the language of a Global Travel Manager one hour and a CEO the next
- Obsessive about follow-up — you use CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce to ensure every conversation is tracked and moved forward
- High agency — you don't need a manual. You see a gap in a relationship or a community, and you fill it
