Ecommerce Assistant Manager
Job Summary: Aid in overseeing and optimizing online sales strategy. Make the online shopping experience seamless from the website to the d2c marketing channels (email sms) while being aligned with Mestiza’s brand objectives.

Retention Marketing:
· Email development and execution
· SMS development and execution
Strategy Development: Memorialize best performing past seasonal efforts along with ideating and implementing new eCommerce strategies to drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer experience.
· Work with outside developers and contractors to enhance site experience, if necessary
· Proactively find opportunities for improvement, scouring internet and shopify apps.
Website Management: Overseeing the online store's design, functionality, and user experience, ensuring it is optimized for conversions.
· Weekly scans of the UX experience
o check direct and referral experience (does the experience make sense from ads)
o desktop vs mobile UX experience

§ upsells
§ making sure product pages contain correct information
§ implementing any new technologies
· Weekly scans of product
o Typos
o Swap out imagery of what’s not working
o Re-merchandising the site
o Drafting out of stock product
o Taking product on and off pre-order
· Own the process of any new website developments made to the site
o Conversion optimizations
o Creative content changes etc
Product Management: Managing product listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels to ensure everything is up-to-date and appealing.
Marketing Coordination: Collaborating with marketing teams to plan and execute online advertising campaigns, email marketing, and social media promotions.
· Implement accommodating banners, create discount codes, pop-ups, landing pages and email campaigns
· Own the entire email marketing implementation process
· Implement markdowns
Analytics and Reporting: Hypothesizing and testing new website and email strategies.
o Analyzing sales data, customer behavior, and website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar to inform decisions and improve results.
· Check Hotjar recordings and look and report upon areas of frustration and find solutions
· Email sales reporting and deep dive analytics
Customer Engagement: Developing strategies to enhance customer loyalty and engagement, such as loyalty programs and personalized marketing.
Supply Chain Coordination: Working with logistics and inventory management to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
· Manage split ship orders
· Make sure unfulfilled orders go out and AV held status is corrected
Competitive Analysis: Monitoring competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Checking our retailers websites for promotions and hardmarks.
