Production Plant Manager

Scope of Position:

The Plant Manager will manage the manufacturing operations in Bradner, Ohio.  The Plant Manager will work as a partner with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to provide high-quality fabricated louver, damper, and shutter products for the architectural, mechanical, and industrial markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
• Manage maintenance personnel for the buildings and grounds.
• Manage budgets and inventory while maintaining industry standard lead times.
• Work closely with engineering to fabricate high quality standard and custom products.
• Work closely with customer service and sales to communicate lead time status and production status.
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing (by application).
• Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

• Ten to fifteen years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of all department functions and responsibilities within a business unit.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Creative, flexible and innovative team player.
• Ability to prioritize and function under pressure.
• Must understand Company policies.
