Scope of Position:
The Plant Manager will manage the manufacturing operations in Bradner, Ohio. The Plant Manager will work as a partner with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to provide high-quality fabricated louver, damper, and shutter products for the architectural, mechanical, and industrial markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
- Manage maintenance personnel for the buildings and grounds.
- Manage budgets and inventory while maintaining industry standard lead times.
- Work closely with engineering to fabricate high quality standard and custom products.
- Work closely with customer service and sales to communicate lead time status and production status.
- Provide technical support for sales and marketing (by application).
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested
Position Requirements:
- Ten to fifteen years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- Five years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
- Strong understanding of all department functions and responsibilities within a business unit.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Creative, flexible and innovative team player.
- Ability to prioritize and function under pressure.
- Must understand Company policies.
