Shop Superintendent

Position: Shop Superintendent

We are currently looking to expand our ever-growing team by hiring a Shop Superintendent to support our operations at our Peoria location.

Responsibilities

· Direct supervisor of roofing technician crew.

· Receive service work orders and schedule technicians work daily.

· Prepare daily work plan for technicians utilizing our project management software.

· Communicate with Construction Superintendent about self-performing labor needs

· Update and track service orders in project management software.

· Maintain and manage truck fleet and equipment.

· Organize, maintain, and manage shop inventory, yard, and warehouse.

· Conduct safety talks to ensure technicians follow the safety plan.

· Reconcile weekly technician timesheets.

· Maintain facilities and grounds by routinely inspecting and addressing issues.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience supervising a work crew.
• A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills; and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
• High school diploma or higher education
• Driven personality, eager to improve and able to work within and support internal teams.
• Computer literate and able to learn several software programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
