Messiah Lifeways is a non-profit organization located in Mechanicsburg, PA, that provides a network of services for adults, 55 and better living in South Central PA. Our roots trace back to 1896, when the brethren in Christ Church founded Messiah Home in Harrisburg, PA, to serve older adults with Christ-like love.
Who You Are
The Adult Learning Coordinator provides exceptional communication skills, technological expertise, and project coordination to support the operational excellence of the Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning. This role organizes and delivers engaging educational experiences for adults seeking lifelong learning opportunities. This role will have a consistent schedule averaging about 20 hours a week, with the occasional busy and slow season.
What You Will Do
- Plan, coordinate, and execute educational programs, workshops, and events.
- Collaborate with instructors, volunteers, and community partners to ensure program quality.
- Manage registration, scheduling, and participant communication.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with program evaluation and improvement.
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote adult learning initiatives.
- Utilize technology and office software to streamline operations and enhance engagement.

Education & Experience
