JOB SUMMARY:
Messer Cutting Systems offers innovative software programs that effectively streamline processes. Our software solutions are the effective link between our customer’s machine and commercial products. As the Application Support Engineer, you will provide technical and functional customer support of our various software applications through phone support and in-person & remote customer training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
- 3 or more years of experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
- Experience cleaning and changing laser cutting heads
- Database/Parameter development
- Advanced understanding of G&M code
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS experience preferred
- Knowledge of CNC equipment preferred
- Knowledge of material handling systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with good organizational skills and the flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Self-starter with determination for completing tasks
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
