What You Will Do
- Adheres to all Messer safety policies and procedures
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Perform all levels of preventive and schedule maintenance of equipment
- Perform Pre-delivery inspections on new fleet
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical, engine, hydraulic and mechanical systems for dirt and aerial equipment
- Identify and communicate the need for parts for inventory and shop tools
- Communicates regularly with Foreman and/or Manager about the progress of assigned tasks
- Assist other technicians as necessary
- Pressure washes and cleans equipment as necessary
- Completes work orders daily in a detailed manner
- Attend formal trainings
- All other duties and responsibilities determined by the management of the Rental Division
- Be able to work safely and promote working in a safe space
- Be a self-starter with a high level of energy
- Be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision & in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of productivity and goal oriented
- Be a team player and assist others for the good of the department & the company
- Accept personal responsibility for the quality of our product & the service we provide to our customers
- Must be proficient with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems (EX: electrical troubleshooting & hydraulic system troubleshooting)
- Receptive to change and the ability to adjust priorities as necessary
- Maintain a professional, positive attitude
