EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking a Process and Utility Piping Laborer, preferably with food and beverage and/or pharmaceutical industry experience, to join our team.
EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers.

What You Will Do
- Focuses on safety and safety practices first and foremost during all tasks assigned
- Provides labor work needed for a specific jobsite in a positive, efficient and timely manner
- General and final cleanup on jobsites for projects
- Distribution / cleanup of power hand-tools / extensions cords
- Willingness to learn the piping trade and jump in and assist when needed
- Attends meetings and prepares all necessary daily documentation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must have transportation
- Familiar with basic tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
- Proficient math skills
- Good communication skills
- Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
- Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
