As an IT Business Analyst Co-Op, you will collaborate with business analysts & stakeholders to develop business requirements, business cases & test plans. Work to ensure a positive end product for business stakeholders. Creates and maintains proper training materials and business documentation. Supports cross-departmental projects and follows IT-prescribed application development processes. Draft applications using Microsoft Excel, SQL, VB queries, and Power BI. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with business analysts & stakeholders to develop business requirements, business cases & test plans.
• Work to ensure a positive end product for business stakeholders. Creates and maintains proper training materials and business documentation.
• Supports cross-departmental projects and follows IT’s prescribed application development processes, ensuring that all process steps have been followed accordingly.
• Draft application Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and VB queries.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Undergraduate student with a concentration in business computer-related field
• Part-time hours during the school year, with the opportunity to increase hours during the summer
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including a good working knowledge of financial formulas and analysis in Excel
• Exposure to or experience with systems support, project management, and analysis
• Strong communication skills, as interaction with internal clients as well as a wide range of personalities and skill sets, is a part of the job daily
• Ability to take initiative, collaborate with others, to utilize resources, and to communicate effectively
• Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and help with developing creative solutions to meet business needs
• Experience working in a team, preferably on projects as well as in a support role
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Tools: Word and Excel
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI & Visio is a plus
