Retail Associate – Mess Hall (Charleston, SC)
Mess Hall is a unique DIY custom trucker hat bar with a cafeteria theme, located in Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. We're looking for enthusiastic, creative individuals to join our team! You’ll be part of a fun and fast-paced environment where creativity and customer service go hand-in-hand.
Job Type:
- Part time and weekends
- 8 hours of availability per week
Location:
- Mess Hall, Spring Street, Charleston, SC
What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers with creating their own custom trucker hats using heat presses and various customizations like patches, pins, and buttons
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with visitors to ensure a memorable experience
- Handle retail transactions using our POS system
- Manage inventory and restock merchandise as needed
- Help with merchandising and organizing product
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing storefront
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Local to Charleston, SC and be available during the holidays
- Previous retail or customer service experience (1 year preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic problem-solving skills with attention to detail
