What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential House Supervisor position at Mesquite Treatment Center Administration?
Job Duties:
1. Oversees the operation of residential home and personnel;
2. Responsible for hire/fire youth care staff, clerical, and cook and any disciplinary actions.
3. Reviews and monitors program data collection;
4. Prepares work schedule and reviews time cards;
5. Attends staff meeting, providing input and ideas;
6. Oversees the maintenance of home and residential vehicles;
7. Maintains inventory of residential clothing needs;
8. Maintains communication with family and friends of clients;
9. Oversees the purchase of house supplies and equipment
10. Attends prescribed training on programs; responsible to train all youth care staff.
11. Attends applicant interviews and performance evaluations;
12. Transport residents to various destinations as directed;
13. Responds to emergencies situations as needed;
14. Performs related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalence;
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques;
Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the operations of residential homes;
Knowledge of substance abuse treatment plans;
Ability to maintain and review records of client activities;
Ability to review and monitor program data collection, enter new programs into data books, and reconcile data;
Ability to oversee the operations of assigned personnel;
Ability to follow all personnel policies and rules of the organization;
Ability to maintain confidentially;
Ability to respond to emergency situations 24 hours a day;
License/Certification Needed:
Ability to satisfactorily complete all necessary in-service training, and ability to obtain CPR and basic first aid and medication administration certification;
Possession of driver’s and demonstrated safe driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
