What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Football Coach/Campus Athletic Director - West Mesquite High School position at Mesquite ISD?
Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head Football Coach/Campus Athletic Director for West Mesquite High School. The appointee will report directly to the campus Principal and Executive Director of Athletics and will be responsible for the football program, as well as provide leadership and direction to all other athletic programs on the campus and feeder schools. The person will work closely with all personnel and students on the campus.
Qualifications: The Head Football Coach/Campus Athletic Director will have a valid teaching certificate.
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- have experience as a head coach or coordinator
- have a minimum of three (3) years coaching experience at the 5-A - 6-A level, or a highly successful lower classification program
- exhibit the ability to develop, implement and maintain a highly competitive program
- possess strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary: Pay Range: $90,400 - $113,678; 226 day contract
