LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide and enforce safety at all pool areas.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be customer service oriented, professional, respectful and considerate. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain pool, Jacuzzi and pool deck safety.
- Consistently and fairly enforce all pool regulations.
- Respond to emergencies according to training.
- Maintain high level of guest service, cleanliness and organization.
- Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:
- Move chairs for guests.
- Provide clean towels and dispose of dirty towels without being asked.
- Pay attention to kids, complementing them on their swimming abilities and making them feel welcome.
- Advise guests of all points of interest within the Company and surrounding areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires extensive sitting and may require extensive and repetitious physical exertion, bending or kneeling repeatedly, lifting, pulling and pushing moderate to heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is associated with all types of extreme weather. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions and the use of safe work practices, avoidance of trips and falls, etc.
