We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team as we enter our next phase of growth.
Position OverviewThis is not a traditional finance role.
We are looking for a CFO who has experience helping growth-stage companies scale, raise capital, build investor relationships, and create enterprise value.
The ideal candidate has worked with private equity-backed healthcare, wellness, retail healthcare, or multi-location service businesses and understands what it takes to grow from a regional operator into a national platform.
The CFO will be responsible for financial leadership, capital strategy, banking relationships, investor communications, mergers and acquisitions support, financial planning, and long-term value creation.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership- Partner directly with the CEO on company strategy and expansion planning.
- Develop financial frameworks supporting regional and national growth.
- Evaluate new market opportunities, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Support Board and shareholder reporting.
- Lead relationships with banks, lenders, family offices, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
- Identify and execute capital raising opportunities.
- Manage due diligence, investor presentations, and financing processes.
- Develop and maintain a network of strategic financial partners.
- Advise executive leadership on capital structure and growth financing strategies.
- Build and maintain enterprise financial models.
- Develop clinic-level and company-wide KPIs.
- Analyze unit economics and expansion returns.
- Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital allocation.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Lead financial due diligence and transaction analysis.
- Participate in negotiations and deal structuring.
- Support integration of acquired businesses.
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives.
- Build scalable financial systems and processes capable of supporting national growth.
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Previous CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent executive leadership role.
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies or institutional investors.
- Proven experience supporting capital raises, debt financing, or strategic transactions.
- Strong financial modeling and business planning skills.
- Experience scaling multi-location businesses.
