An Account Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and maintaining positive relationships with assigned customers. This involves effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and addressing any issues that may arise. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services.

Mesilla Valley Transportation began in 1982 as a small independent fleet in the Southwest. In the late ’80s, MVT went through a controlled growth spurt and began to encompass the 48 connected states and Canada.
Today, Mesilla Valley Transportation is one of the largest locally-owned Truck Load carriers in the U.S. We specialize in time-sensitive service between major manufacturing areas in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico borders.

An Account Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and maintaining positive relationships with assigned customers. This involves effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and addressing any issues that may arise. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
Responsibilities
- Provides and communicates accurate information to the customer and internally to maintain a high-level service.
- Ensures effective communication with designated order entry team members. This includes providing clear instructions, sharing relevant information, and promptly addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.
- Accurately tracks and traces loads and uses all tolls provided with MSLV; and escalates any issues to the Operations Manager if necessary.
- Seeks out opportunities to grow business and foster stronger customer connections.
- Schedules pickup and delivery appointments with customers in a timely manner.
- Works with team members to solve problems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of motor carrier operations and geography.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
