Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed facility, providing access to quality behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona. MVH is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies.

Mesilla Valley Hospital is currently seeking a PRN Tele-Health Patient Care Coordinator.

The telehealth Patient care coordinator is to help medical staff with providing secretarial tele-health assistance during the delivery of patient are via telecommunication. Acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure smooth communication and coordination of care. Providing administrative support with access to forms, PHI, IT services, access to pts via tele-communication, filling and ensuring the provider has all needed documents and access to the treatment team as needed. The Tele-health patient coordinator only works with the medical staff assigned to the patient during tele-health services.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Degree/GED required; or Associates Degree in a Human Services field; or Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field; or a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Experience:

One year of work experience in a behavioral health facility, or bachelor' s degree in social services or related field, plus one year of work experience in behavioral health service or delivery preferred.
WORK HOURS: 8 hour shifts. PRN employees must work four shifts per month, one shift must include a weekend.
