Full Stack Software Development Engineer

What You'll Do (The Role)

This role is for a specific type of engineer. We're looking for someone who:

This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is focused on execution and ownership. You will:

• Own features end-to-end, from technical design and scoping to development, testing, and deployment in our AWS environment
• Build and scale high-impact features for both our back-end (AWS Serverless) and front-end (React) products
• Solve complex, ambiguous business problems with creative, simple, and reliable technical solutions
• Drive the resolution of production issues, identifying root causes and implementing both immediate fixes and long-term measures
• Help grow our team and engineering culture by participating in code reviews, design discussions, interviews and continuously improving our mechanisms
• Ensure service reliability by supporting our production stack and participating in a shared on-call rotation.

• A proven track record (ideally 5 years) of shipping high-quality, scalable software as a full-stack or back-end engineer
• Deep, practical experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS, particularly with serverless architectures (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.)
• A history of taking ownership and delivering results. You can point to specific projects where you solved a hard problem, simplified a complex system, or drove a key business outcome
• Experience with React or a comparable modern front-end framework 

• Curiosity and/or hands-on experience with LLM-assisted development (e.g., using GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, etc.)
• Experience in FinTech, identity, or a related high-security domain
