Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to assess their quality and compliance with standards.
- Document inspection results, analyses, and any defects identified during the inspection process.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform measurements using various tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, standards, and protocols.
- Participate in internal audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support root cause analysis and preventive action efforts for non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and reports.
- Assist in training new employees on quality control processes and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and quality assurance techniques to enhance skillsets.
- Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality standards (such as ISO, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing) and quality control methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality control software
- Proficiency in the use of measurement tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
