Job Summary
Four Directions Treatment & Recovery Center (FDTRC) seeking a proactive and experience Facility Manager to
oversee all building related operations and ensure premises are safe, functional and well-maintained. This
position involves managing service contracts, supervising maintenance personnel and ensuring compliance
with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee custodian/maintenance personnel to ensure custodial, maintenance, grounds keeping and
repair(s) are completed and documented.
Ensure basic facilities such as water, heating, electricity are operational and well maintained.
Schedule routine facility inspections and emergency repairs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
Oversee environmental health and safety.
Ensure security of all the buildings and grounds.
Monitor safety and cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas.
Develops/coordinates maintenance repairs and schedules.
Develop intervention and emergency response plans.
Ensures emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees; conducts routine fire drills.
Understanding of federal laws to ensure compliance with facility safety and maintenance regulations.
Coordinate building renovations and refurbishments.
Maintain records and prepare reports on maintenance, safety and operational issues.
Performs other duties assigned
Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor Degree in Facilities Management or related field, preferred.
Must be able to work after hours, weekends, Holidays and as requested.
Must have a valid NM Driver’s License.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.

pounds.
Work Environment
A major portion of the work is done at Four Directions Treatment & Recovery Center. The worker will carry out
the work at their place of employment and in Tribal Offices. Evening, weekend, and/or holiday work will be
required. Work is generally performed in an office setting.
