What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN / PACU - PRN (1 shift/week) position at Mesa View Regional Hospital?
The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred.
Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada.
Current BLS required. PALS, ACLS required. **All Certifications must be held through AHA or ARC.**
**Hourly Rate DOE: $37.80 - $47.25**

Education
Required- High School or better
- Associates or better in Nursing
- Bachelors or better in Nursing
Licenses & Certifications
Required- C-ARC-ALS
- C-ARC-PALS
- C-ARC-BLS
- L-NV-RN License
