Job Summary
The Warehouse Clerk processes orders, accepts deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized, which includes everything from physically moving product around the warehouse space to properly maintaining all shipping and receiving records.
Essential Duties
- Tracks and logs all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses.
- Accepts deliveries of company products and stores them accordingly.
- Orders and restocks new supplies.
- Receives customer and client orders.
- Packs and ships orders for delivery.
- Inspects all orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
- Reports and returns damaged product.
- Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products.
- Addresses and resolves any complaints about products, shipping speeds, or damaged items.
- Uses WMS (Warehouse Management Software) programs to monitor inventory and balance accounts.
- Keeps warehouse area clean and organized.
- Reports to warehouse supervisor or management to alert them of any issues with shipping or receiving.
- All other duties assigned.
Education
Required
- High School or GED
Experience
Required
- 1 year previous warehouse experience.
Preferred
- 1 year Forklift experience.
- Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations
Required
- Ability to obtain Crane and Forklift Certifications by the end of the probationary period. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving procedures, and inventory control practices.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and related inventory tracking systems.
- Understanding of proper product handling, storage, and packaging standards.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Awareness of quality control processes for inspecting incoming and outgoing goods.
- Proficient in tracking, logging, and reconciling inventory records.
- Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to accurately inspect shipments for damage, defects, and missing items.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
- Competent in processing and fulfilling customer and client orders in a timely manner.
- Effective problem-solving skills for resolving product, shipping, and customer service issues.
- Ability to handle and transport heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as receiving, stocking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Ability to use WMS software to monitor inventory and manage order fulfillment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
- Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read in English.

Additional Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a WorkSTEPS physical.
- Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7a.m. - 5p.m. and occasionally Saturday.
