Role Description
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Producer (New Business) for a full-time, on-site role in Tampa, FL. The role involves generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and consulting on their commercial insurance needs. Responsibilities include prospecting new leads, presenting tailored insurance solutions, managing risk assessments, and supporting clients with their coverage options. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and write new commercial business
- Identify client risks and structure appropriate coverage
- Build relationships with prospects, referral partners, and business owners
- Prepare and present quotes
- Work with carriers to negotiate terms and pricing
- Drive consistent production
- Respond to leads
Qualifications
- Expertise in Insurance, including Commercial and Casualty Insurance
- Active Florida 2-20 General Lines License
- Experience with Risk Management principles and practices
- Proven ability in Sales and building enduring client relationships
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits and related offerings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with attention to detail
- Current insurance license or ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe
- Previous experience in the insurance or related industries preferred
- Speaks English and Spanish
