Direct Services Professional-Sugar and Ice Food Truck
- 17.00 per hr.
- Monday to Friday 7:00 am- 3:00 pm; with needs of providing some evenings and weekends to attend various events around the Grand Valley.
- Must be 21 due to driving purposes
- All jobs contingent on passing a background check
POSITION OVERVIEW:
If you have an interest in helping support others reach their goals by providing job supports in a food service and barista skills. The Vocational Direct Support Professional provides community/job supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. DSP's strive to assure the health and safety of persons served while also encouraging them to take reasonable risks to foster growth and independence. This position is job coaching and will grow into an opportunity providing community work supports on a food truck serving up specialty drinks, coffees, burritos, and donuts.
Requirements
Site Specific Physical Requirements:·
- Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to carry heavy weights (over 50 lbs.) occasionally.
- Ability to squat frequently.
- Ability to reach overhead, forward and to the side frequently.
- Ability to perform move and balance to assist with transfers occasionally.
Financial Accountability: May be responsible for billing, using cash registers/clover pad, and collecting from vendors.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Must have a valid driver's license and can legally drive in State of Colorado.
- Preference of having food service experience
