Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday regular business hours
Pay: 20.40 per hour

The Department Monitor works cooperatively with Supervisor in the Department of Personal Supports and Opportunities to conduct monitoring activities in Children's Extensive and Supported Living departments. Monitoring activities include face-to-face monitoring and review of documentation, billing entries, and timecards. The Monitoring Specialist supports employees in resolution of problems found while monitoring, including providing applicable training as the situation may dictate. The caseload will include individual support in the department. Must be self motivated and have computer skills.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
- Completes required organization forms, including, but not limited to HR forms, Payroll forms, Finance and Accounting forms, etc., and submits to appropriate department in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all Employees are up to date and accurate for all trainings, navigating Therap. and Paylocity, and on any necessary documents required for the individuals.
- Attending meetings, in-services, training, etc., on a consistent basis as appropriate and directed by supervisor.
- Assures open communication with the guardian/individual and other team members is completed. Addresses any concerns the guardian/individual has in a timely manner, and documents follow-up.
- Follows up on emails, phone calls, concerns, etc., in a timely manner, preferably within two business days.
- Ensures quarterly monitoring is done per regulations and agency policy.
- Assures that individuals receive all Services and Supports identified in their personal Service Plans, and the required documentation is being followed correctly.
- Establishes and maintains monitoring system to ensure that individuals receives all services and support required in their annual service plans and by applicable regulations.
- Maintaining and updating department spreadsheets.
- Maintaining and updating employee schedules.
- Will carry a caseload upwards of 15 hours a week doing direct services.
- Will complete any necessary data entry.
- Good problem solving skills
- Computer skills a must
- Must be self motivated
- All other duties as assigned.
