The Procurement Specialist will prepare, review, negotiate, and administer contract documents and purchase orders for a variety of materials and services. This will include Master Service Agreements and scope of work documented on specific task orders in addition to purchase orders. This position will responsible for collaborating with internal business partners and external suppliers.
Education/Experience:
- Associates degree from fully accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement for engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Woking with multi-discipline teams to collaborate on material needs
- Developing relationships with vendors and applicable material representatives for quote of various material
- Monitor schedules in coordination with project managers and technical leads to ensure supply chain is maintained on schedule
- Define and implement SRM governance around the SRM process to achieve desired business outcomes
- Compile, analyze, and present Supply Chain data as required
- Perform periodic supplier performance reviews to communicate actual and perceived performance concerns with Suppliers
- Maintains database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s) as part of Supplier Relationship Management
- Communicates effectively with both internal and external customers
- Secondary responsibility, as needed, prepares, negotiates and administers contracts and purchase orders with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Other related duties as assigned
