Mesa seeks a Portfolio Manager that will be responsible for the overall management of groups of projects and programs, provides customer leadership to groups of Project Managers, is accountable for maintaining solid customer financial targets, rapport, relationships and is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all project work. This person will be an integral participant in contract negotiations and provides guidance, direction, and coaching to Project Managers. They will Work independently and ensure all projects are meeting or exceeding customer schedule expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer leadership to groups of Project and Program Managers.
- Accountable for maintaining solid customer financial targets, rapport, relationships and is ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all project work.
- Integral participant in contract negotiations.
- Provides guidance, direction, and coaching to Project Managers.
Accountability
- Assisting, supporting, or leading the coordination and flow of communications and information between internal and external project team, ensuring satisfactory scope, schedule, and budget performance on projects while consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Quality, project checks, and reviews for the project team.
- Safety and well-being of all Mesa associates executing work on their projects.
- Leads interactions with internal project teams, customer executives, representatives and decision makers, suppliers.

Education and Experience
- BS or MS Degree from an ABET accredited school or equivalent and at least 15 years of experience managing projects and/or customer accounts > 6M in revenues.
- PE and/or PMP Required.

Salary Range
$147,541.67 - $182,795.14.
The expected compensation is a range determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate, internal equity, work location, and hiring department’s fiscal resources.
