The Engineering Specialist II is responsible for:
- Collaboration with the Design Team to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time.
- Applying intermediate engineering principles to produce accurate and precise calculations and design deliverables.
- Knowledge of transmission and distribution materials associated with basic and intermediate project designs.
- Utilizing design software to create designs compliant with all codes and client standards.
- Performs material selection and takeoffs for basic and intermediate project designs.
- Review and understand project specifications, requirements, and standards.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure design intent is transferred to the design drawings.
- Establishes, promotes, and assures quality on all projects and work performed.
- Provide quality workmanship for all projects and work performed.
- Supports a safety culture within group and demonstrates safe work practices.
- May provide technical oversight on basic project tasks.
