Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Insurance Sales role based in Grand Junction, CO, with commission and bonus compensation. The role involves:
- meeting with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs
- presenting suitable insurance and benefit solutions
- explaining coverage details in clear, accessible language
- Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, managing a pipeline of prospects, preparing quotes, and processing applications through insurance carriers and brokerage partners. The role also requires maintaining accurate client records
- providing ongoing customer service, resolving policy-related questions, and staying updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- The individual in this role collaborates with internal team members to optimize sales strategies while adhering to compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales to effectively identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance to navigate carrier offerings, policy structures, and benefits plans.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, maintain client relationships, and provide responsive support.
- Active insurance producer/license in relevant lines (accident and health) or eligibility to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfort with using CRM systems and basic office software to manage leads, client information, and follow-ups.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
