What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Mesa Airlines?
Responsible for providing direction to warehouse personnel ensuring that components and material are safely and properly received, stored, and shipped in accordance to company and federal regulations. Ensures that stockroom is safely and efficiently managed and that the requirements of the Mesa Quality Department, OSHA, and the Federal Aviation Regulations are complied with at all times.
Essential Functions:
- Provides leadership, management, and training for warehouse personnel as well as oversees inventory control functions and warehouse facilities.
- Manages physical inventories and locations ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, FAR's, hazardous material regulations, Department of Transportation regulations, and local regulatory agency policies.
- Ensures proper material handling, shipping, and receiving of Mesa Air Group materials.
- Budgetary responsibilities include management of payroll, overtime, supply costs, freight expense, and support in the preparation of departmental budget.
- Maintains the integrity of the PMI inventory system through the supervision of physical inventories and coordinating reconciliations and adjustments with Inventory Control.
- Manages warehouse workflow efficiency
- Provide support to management as needed.
- Supports development and implementation of long-term objectives, strategies, and improvement opportunities for the warehouse operation.
- Communicate and work with following departments: Purchasing and Materials, Line Maintenance, Heavy Check Maintenance, Planning, and Quality.

Qualifications:
- High School degree and a minimum of 4 years of airline warehouse preferred
- Supervision of personnel experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and applicable inventory systems
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills
- Must have legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Familiarity with hazardous material regulations, FAR's, and OSHA policies
- Experience with freight operators and logistics management.
