We are growing and currently hiring a Parts Person to join our team in Garland, Texas. The Parts Person

will re-stock parts and maintain the shop work areas.

Responsibilities

· Receiving, processing, and inventory of all equipment and parts.

· Restocking shop inventory and maintaining an organized and orderly sales floor area.

· Assisting shop management with processing parts and inventory orders.

· Responsible for shop maintenance and cleaning of work areas.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

· Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.

· Prior experience working in a repair shop for semi-trucks, recreational vehicles or medium-

duty vehicles preferred.

· The ability to stand for extended periods.

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Effective communication skills.

· Exceptional customer service skills.

· Detail-oriented.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

 Skills, adeptness, and speed in the use of fingers, hands and/or limbs on repetitive operation of

mechanical or electrical repair shop machines and tools.

 Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing in excess of 60 pounds.

 Move, load or unload material and parts for trucks and trailers.

 Push and maneuver heavy objects using carts, dollies, or dumpsters weighing up to 150 pounds.

 Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, battery acids, and exhaust fumes while in the shop

work area

 Working within a service garage setting. Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.

Heavy phone usage, talking with customers. Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, and

exhaust fumes.

Hours: M-F, Some Saturdays

Hourly Rate: $15-23, based on experience

Reporting to: Shop Manager

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
