ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Collect accurate information and solve guest concerns promptly and efficiently.
· Answer multi-line telephone system to provide information to internal/external guests. Answer calls and process requests from team members. Make, return and follow-up on calls to maintain proper communications with departmental staff and management staff.
· Audit all information efficiently must be detail oriented and able to audit all information in and out of payroll system as processed.
· Verify all PAF information for complete accuracy before processing, including PAF information for vacation/floating holiday/LOA by accessing the system, and team member folder if necessary, to assure the vacation accrual, LOA time and the vacation remaining are accurately recorded.
· File all payroll documents in the individual team member’s folder through scanning process.
· Perform garnishments audits by accessing the required information in the computer system. Experience with Garnishment processing and maintaining deduction files. Maintain and send notification to Team Members
· Maintains all Union related payments. Monthly, quarterly and annually. Responsible for providing updates when rates increase.
· Review all data in the system for direct deposit requests.
· Time clock verification, reporting inaccuracies to departments to ensure all payrolls is reconciled on a daily basis. Running payroll reports as necessary, verifying all PTO requests in the Time clock.
· Process and prepare quarterly tax deposits. Maintain support documentation for the IRS.
· Submits all positive pay and direct deposit files bi –weekly. Monitors any return check data and notifies CFO on any and all issues.
· Compete any and all additional ad-hoc reports and duties as assigned by management.
· Work with all GL accountants to assist with the bi-weekly and monthly close process.
· Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Knowledge of Unifocus, payroll and human resources including smart list functionality and reporting is highly preferred.
· Knowledge of basic payroll functions and ability to learn and follow all IRS’s principal laws, as well as all applicable state laws.
· Comprehend and follow written and/or verbal instructions from supervisors/ managers.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook.
· Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
· Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, instructing, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
· Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 3 years of Payroll processing experience is required for 1,000 team members or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
· Must be able to occasionally push/pull and/or lift/carry 20lbs or less.
· The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require frequent light grasping motions and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
· Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
