ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Implement quality checks and monitor individual performance with coordinating personnel assignments to ensure that workflow is maintained.
- Identify potential problem areas and maintain goal attainment with training efforts and meet production requirements.
- Manage team members in the production area.
- Troubleshoot and solve various problems within the operations area.
- Provide a safe environment for guests and team members. Report emergencies to proper authorities.
- Direct team members to their workstations to ensure coverage in all areas.
- Review production necessities to meet demands of the hotel.
- Take care of team member requests/issues (time off, vacations, concerns, etc.
- Troubleshoot and rectify supply shortages, quality issues, labor utilization, etc. Communicate any malfunctions to management/engineers.
- Assist in all facets of operations when needed.
- Make constant contact with both internal and external guests to provide optimal guest service.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Comply with Hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities.
- Ability of simple reading, writing, math and task completion skills is required.
- Must have the following skills: coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years’ laundry supervisor experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, occasionally sitting, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull up to 50lbs or less.
- The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
- Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
