ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Provide proper and professional food and cocktail service to all bowling guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
· All duties are to ensure that GSR’s guests receive a quality product and good service.
· Promote and document orders for food and drinks, reciting selections of all Crossfire Bar and Grill products, enter the order into a POS, properly garnish and deliver to guests in a timely manner.
· Always maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment, etc.
· Maintain proper and adequate set-up of server station daily, before, after and during shift.
· Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
· Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous restaurant and/or cocktail experience preferred but not required. On the job training available.
· Candidate must be able to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
· Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
· Attend meetings to be informed of new rules, regulations, and procedures and to discuss scheduling and/or other concerns of GSR and the department.
· In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of functions to be determined based upon the needs of GSR.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Possess excellent communication skills, both in written and oral form.
· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests, Team Members, and supervisors.
· Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, Team Members, and guests.
EDUCATION
· High School Diploma or GED preferred.
· Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
· Alcohol Awareness card required.
· Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills are a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, twisting, grasping, lifting, listening, and speaking.
· Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and writing, typing on POS keyboard
· Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time; be able to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level.
· Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, bowling and casino environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Work performed indoors.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
