ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Process incoming payments and post to accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classing, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data in LMS (Lodging Management System).
• Perform billing responsibilities and issue invoices for assigned accounts.
• Respond to and resolve guest and client billing issues in a positive and professional manner.
• Perform collections activities on past-due accounts by contacting clients by email and phone.
• Process commissions and prepare disbursements to travel agencies.
• Generate aging and other reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Data entry and excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workload demands.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and complex task completion skills is required.
• Must have the following skills: clerical, analyzing, following instructions, influencing others, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Prior Accounts Receivable experience is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, and crouching during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to frequently lift/carry 10lbs or less.
• The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require occasional light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work performed indoors, frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment.
