Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an EA or CPA who is as passionate about people as they are about tax law. You should enjoy solving problems, explaining complex concepts in plain language, and building long-term relationships with clients. If you’re detail-oriented but also friendly and approachable, you’ll be a great fit here.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
- Provide proactive tax planning and advice.
- Resolve client tax issues before the IRS and state tax authorities when needed.
- Help clients with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general accounting support.
- Stay current on tax laws and share your knowledge with the team and clients.
- Build trust with clients by being responsive, clear, and dependable.
What We Need You To Bring
- EA or CPA license (active and in good standing).
- 2 years of tax preparation experience (we’re flexible depending on the candidate).
- Comfort with tax and accounting software (QuickBooks, or similar, Drake Tax, word,and excel).
- A knack for organization and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset.
- Be able to work independently.
