Qualifications
- Must have 3-5 years Tractor Trailer driving experience.
- Valid MO or IL Driver's License and CDL.
- Must be DOT certified.
- Must maintain personal auto insurance.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to operate a truck per motor vehicle operator's manual in MO and IL.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervise Transportation.
- Ensure there is sufficient staff to support retail transportation needs and provide services to retail stores as needed.
- Maintain a system to provide transportation and collection of goods to and from agency.
- Help to coordinate, and monitor Retail's donated goods, transportation, and salvage.
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
- Provide and maintain services in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure budgetary constraints are maintained.
- Register, obtain inspection(s) and licensing of transportation operated vehicles in compliance with state regulations and guidelines.
- Obtain maintenance and repair of all transportation operated MERS/MGI vehicles, owned, or leased.
- Must read, follow, and model all MERS/Goodwill policies and Goodwill Retail procedures.
- Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate information for the DOT, Internal Revenue Service, and other assigned reporting requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
